Chicago?!

As most of you may already know, I am currently traveling with Bible Memory which is filled with laughter, exhaustion, and children hungry for Jesus (also, lots of amazing food). It’s a blast sharing Jesus with people who have become family. However, this fall I am stepping out of my comfort zone and moving to Chicago to work for DOOR.  To be honest, it’s still very surreal to me and probably will be until the day I leave. To say that I am scared is an understatement. I hate being put in a position where I don’t know anyone personally; only because I’m a naturally awkward person and talking to people I don’t know freaks me out a bit. Also, because I’ve never lived in a big city before and I’ve always been opposed to using public transportation…it scares me almost as much as spiders. Nonetheless, I am extremely excited for God’s new journey for me! I can’t thank everyone enough for the kind and encouraging words. Additionally, I would like to thank those who have prayed and continue to pray for me.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. (Blogging is also out of my comfort zone)
